Intended Use

This kit is used to detect the rabies virus (RBV) antigen in the saliva of canine and feline, and is used for the screening and auxiliary diagnosis of rabies virus infection in canine and feline.

Principle

The rabies virus antigen kit uses rapid immunochromatography technology to detect rabies virus antigen in saliva of canine and feline. After the diluted sample is dropped into the sample hole, if the RBV antigen is present in the sample, it will bind specifically to the colloidal gold labeled recombinant protein to form a complex that moves along the chromatographic membrane and is captured by the RBV antibody coated on the membrane, showing a red line on the detection line (T). If there is no RBV antigen in the sample, no visible lines are formed at the T position. Regardless of negative or positive results, the C line should be colored, otherwise it will be deemed invalid.
