INTRODUCTION

This kit is used for in vitro qualitative detection of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) antigen in human nasal swab samples.It is suitable for the early aid of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infection diagnosis and screening.

INTENDED USE

The test kit is immunochromatographic and uses latex microspheres method to detection Respiratory Syncytial Virus antigen. If the appropriate amount of test samples treated with Sample Extraction Buffer placed in the sample well of the test card, the sample will move by capillary action on the test strip. If the samples antigen concentration of Respiratory Syncytial Virus is higher than the detection limit, forms the antigen immune complexes with the corresponding nucleocapsid protein antibody, marked with microspheres. If the test sample contains Respiratory Syncytial Virus, a red line(T) forms, which positive result. In addition, the test card also contains a control line (C). The C line should be formed to indicate that the sample has been properly passed through membrane, regardless of whether the sample contains antigens or not. If the C line does not appear, it means the result is invalid and the sample needs to be retested.
